Self-guided tours at The LeBron James’ Home Court museum begin with recreations of the humble Spring Hill apartment he lived in and the St. Vincent-St. Mary’s high school gym in which he played.

Visitors will also be able to see notable items from LeBron’s personal collection including the oversized all-white 2003 NBA Draft suit and the infamous 3-1 drum set

There is also his high school McDonald’s All-American jersey and the original TV from his Spring Hill apartment.

In addition there is an original backboard and rim from St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, where the LeBron became known as ‘The Chosen One’ before moves to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.

A gallery also includes a collection of fan art LeBron has received over the years, original shoes he’s played his biggest moments in, James family photos in his replica office, and notes from his journey along the way including Olympic glory.

“My dream was always to put Akron on the map, so to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me,” LeBron said in a statement.

“I’ve been known to hang on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them out.”

The museum is at House Three Thirty, a facility started by LeBron’s foundation to serve the community where he was raised.

General admission tickets are $23 – matching his former uniform number – with all proceeds going back into House Three Thirty’s job training program.

“This is still so crazy to me that this is happening!!” LeBron posted on social media.

“Can’t wait for my fans all over the world to get a peek behind the curtain to see what we’ve built and where it all began.

“Ain’t nobody better mess up my room either!!

“Only in Akron!”
