When Chainz first started working with Lil Wayne, he said that he had trouble sleeping: He had such incredible enthusiasm that I had to put him my all.

You can see the interview that 2 Chainz did with Zane Lowe on Apple Music before to the release of Welcome 2 Collegrove below.

GOAT Lil Wayne’s immense impact makes 2 Chainz feel com pelled to collaborate with him: I’m unable to keep up with him.

During their virtual chat, Tity Boi talked about working on “Presha” with Bangladeshi producer “A Milli,” how his collaboration album with Lil Wayne came together, how they both found the time to work on it, and how he had to step up his bars to keep up with Weezy.

“I believe there is a natural chemistry between us. There is a great deal of respect between us and we really like working together. Furthermore, steel sharpens steel, as I often say.

Therefore, there’s always that tiny bit of worry that this verse needs to be better than the previous one. It seems healthy to me. I believe that competition is beneficial in anything that we undertake.

In addition, Chainz discussed his conversation with Tunechi about sports, the distinctions between Welcome 2 Collegrove and the 2016 ColleGrove project, and his continued hunger and enthusiasm for rap music!
